This lovely project uses light spring colours. We drew the birds on the branches and then after it was dry we added scrapbook paper elements on top, such as flowers to add small details to the piece and get more finished final look.
This project was inspired by Van Gogh Sunflowers. We used very similar techniques but with an easier to use tempera. For speeding up the process we used precut paddle shape to make prints with it around the circular centre of the flower. In the image gallery you can see the picture in the process of creation step by step. The project took approximately 2 hours to complete.
